The training you receive will help you learn to maintain and repair diesel engines and related components in a variety of vehicles and machinery. Because diesel technology job openings often exceed the number of qualified technicians, you can almost guarantee yourself a rewarding career by completing the program at MSCC Because today’s diesel technicians must be highly skilled, analytical thinkers, MSCC focuses on the following areas:

Like other instructional programs at the College, Diesel Technology is open to traditional college students, adults looking to change careers, and high school students interested in starting a career in the field. Through Mid-South’s Technical Center, area high school students have the opportunity to learn about diesel technology for FREE while earning high school AND college credit.
