CISCO - CCNP CERTIFICATION The CCNP certification (Cisco Certified Network Professional) at Mid-South Community College in West Memphis, AR, indicates advanced or journeyman knowledge of networks. With a CCNP, a network professional can install, configure and operate LAN, WAN and dialup-access services for organizations with networks from 100 to more than 500 nodes, including but not limited to these protocols: IP, IGRP, IPX, Async Routing, AppleTalk, Extended Access Lists, IP RIP, Route Redistribution, RIP, Route Summarization, OSPF, VLSM, BGP, Serial, Frame Relay, ISDN, ISL, X.25, DDR, PSTN, PPP, VLANs, Ethernet, Access Lists, 802.10, FDDI, Transparent and Translational Bridging. Semesters 5 through 8 of the Cisco Networking Academy Program at Mid-South Community College in West Memphis, AR, represent an advanced networking course that teaches skills associated with the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification exam. The CCNP curriculum examines complex networking concepts, such as troubleshooting tools and more sophisticated configurations.CCNP is an advanced level Cisco Certification and is a continuation of the CCNA Program. To enroll students must either be CCNA Certified or have successfully completed the CCNA Modules 1-4.
Students successfully completing IS 2584 are ready to take Routing exam (642-801). |
