|The Sandra C. Goldsby Library, located in the Donald W. Reynolds Center on the South Campus, functions as a study and research center for the College. The Library houses collections of nonfiction books, biographies, videos, and DVDs to support the curriculum. There is also a core collection of contemporary and classic novels for recreational reading, as well as collections of audiobooks, juvenile novels, and picture books. Internet and CD-ROM computer workstations are available for research and completing writing assignments. There is also a viewing room for watching video tapes and DVDs for class assignments, or for small group study sessions. The Goldsby Library subscribes to several Internet-based online databases which enable our students to search thousands of indexed periodicals, newspapers, and government documents electronically, most of which provide full-text access to the articles. These databases also provide access via the Internet to multiple sets of reference and e-books, and links to quality web sites considered to be academically appropriate to support students’ research needs.
