Transportation/Logistics Instructor

This is a full-time grant-funded position. 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Technology or related field, with master’s degree preferred. Previous field experience in radio frequency identification systems and geospatial systems is highly desirable. Two or more years of previous experience teaching/training adults with experience in planning and evaluating training program a plus; excellent communication skills and ability to use common computer applications programs; ability to work effectively with business and industry clients and a diverse student population.

Responsibilities:  Reports to the Vice President for Workforce Technology with responsibility for development of transportation and logistics courses, for working with an advisory committee of business and industry representatives to identify program goals and learning outcomes that address local industry needs, for instructing classes, for recruiting students, and for performing other duties as assigned. Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required.

Proposed Salary:  $40,000-$50,000 with full college benefits
