Industrial Maintenance Instructor - This is a part-time position. Minimum Qualifications: 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting, should have strong knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Compressed Air Systems, Programmable Logic Controls, Pump Maintenance, Safety, and Preventive Maintenance Inspection. Extensive knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Systems a plus. A bachelor's degree in a related field is desirable. Prior teaching experience in an industry or academic environment is necessary, and/or additional vocational skills education will be required. A working knowledge of business computer applications, good interpersonal skills, and strong communication skills are a must. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching electrical and mechanical systems courses in support of MSCC degree/certificate programs and customized training for business and industry. The applicant will be required to work closely with current MSCC staff and with an industry steering committee. Work hours will be flexible, depending on class scheduling needs, but may include evenings and week-ends. Teaching assignments may include high school and college classes.
