Upon approval of the Higher Learning Commission, Mid-South Community College (MSCC) in West Memphis, Ark., will become Arkansas State University Mid-South on July 1, 2015. As a result of the impending retirement of the current President of MSCC, I am pleased, along with our Board of Trustees, to invite nominations and applications for chancellor of ASU Mid-South. Arkansas State University Mid-South is one of the leading two-year colleges in the state and region and is located on one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation. The college also boasts an incredible faculty and staff who provide first-rate learning experiences to our students. While the past accomplishments of the institution are indeed impressive, our future promises to be even more exciting and successful.
A full description of the position is available here, along with information on the campus and the application process. The institutional profile will provide an excellent introduction to Arkansas State University Mid-South. A wonderful professional opportunity awaits the right individual, and I look forward to the process of selecting our next leader of this dynamic campus.
