Donald W. Reynolds Center

The $12 million Donald W. Reynolds Center for Educational Excellence serves as the focal point of our campus.

An $8 million grant from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation provided a critical complement to the local financial commitment for the 64,000 square foot facility which houses much-needed support services. These facilities would have taken years to construct without such generous private support. The Center for Educational Excellence houses a learning center, centralized student support services including financial aid, career placement and admissions offices, meeting and conference rooms, food services and a library. The library, with extensive electronic resources is available for countywide use.

The Reynolds Center serves as a visual reminder of the external benefits that can accrue to a community that believes in itself enough to invest its own resources. It also serves as a symbol of a much deeper transformation taking place in the community - that of hope and promise because of the opportunities that improved education provides.

The Donald W. Reynolds Foundation is a national philanthropic organization founded in 1954 by the late media entrepreneur for whom it is named. Reynolds was the founder and principal owner of the Donrey Media Group, a nationwide communications/media company. Headquartered in Las Vegas, it is one of the largest private foundations in the United States.
